Ouna is a conversational companion that helps you reflect on and understand your life through voice conversation. You talk. Ouna listens.
You may sign up on our website to receive information about Ouna. By signing up, you agree to receive emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time. We will not share your email with third parties.
The content on withouna.com is provided for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete or current.
To use the Ouna app, you need to create an account using your phone number. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
You may provide a display name, birth year, email address, and profile photo. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Everything you share with Ouna belongs to you. Your stories, your memories, your words — they are yours. We do not claim ownership of anything you tell Ouna.
By using Ouna, you grant Story Industries a limited license to process your voice recordings, transcripts, and conversation data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This means:

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page in the app. Deletion is permanent. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is deleted.

By using Ouna, you understand and agree that your voice conversations are recorded and transcribed. This is essential to how Ouna works — it is how Ouna remembers your stories and builds on them over time. You can delete all recordings by deleting your account.
We aim to keep Ouna available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of Ouna over time. We will try to give you reasonable notice of significant changes.
Ouna is an evolving product. Some features may be in beta or experimental. These features are provided as-is and may change or be removed.
Ouna, including its software, design, brand, and underlying technology, is owned by Story Industries, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the service.
All text, images, and design on withouna.com are owned by Story Industries, Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our website content without permission.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Ouna, we may use them to improve the service without obligation to you.
Ouna is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Story Industries disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Ouna uses artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes. Ouna may occasionally misremember, misinterpret, or misunderstand what you have shared. You should not rely on Ouna as a factual record of your life.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Story Industries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or emotional distress, arising from your use of Ouna or our website.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Ouna shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Story Industries in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Story Industries, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of Ouna.
You may stop using Ouna and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will try to give you notice, but we may act immediately if necessary to protect the service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use Ouna ends. You may delete your data before or at the time of termination. Data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Ouna or our website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
